Miniature Action Figure and Models

It's fascinating how my interest have shifted in the last couple of years. I used to have a fixation on the 1/6 scale of action figures. The 12 inch figures are great display pieces due to their size and the amount of detail that can be easily worked into the figures. Bigger figures are actually easier to make due to the , well ease of how to incorporate joints, and less fiddly manner in handling bigger pieces and components. Smaller figures requires more patience when it comes to making the head sculpts, joints and other finer details

This was an early sample of my action figures. It was blocky and chunky. The proportions were way off as well.

Then I got interested in the 7 inch line of figures like the one I made below.

I found that the Seven in scale is a very good scale to continue my hobby of making paper craft action figures. It still big enough to make a very good display and saves space on my display stand.

One day, I suddenly got the inspiration to make Warhammer action figures in miniature scale and found the it was a real blast to make and design action figures in the three inch scale.

I could make space marines and design them as different units. I could make their Mechs, ships, weapons and other fun stull like I was playing my own tabletop War hammer RPG
My models are always evolving and my head is just full of different ideas! Hope I can make time to actually make all of them all.
